Call for Proposals: Montana CBT Conference
Share your expertise!
Greetings, Colleagues!
Last fall, nearly 100 mental health clinicians from across Montana gathered in Helena for two days of learning and networking. It was truly inspiring to see so many of you invest your time and energy into the conference.
Planning is now underway for the 6th Annual Montana CBT Conference, taking place in Helena on October 29–30. I’m currently inviting presentation proposals to help round out this year’s agenda.
If you’ve been considering presenting, I encourage you to share your expertise with your colleagues! All presenters receive complimentary conference registration (worth 12 continuing education hours).
Please submit proposals by emailing the following to kruss@mounthelenacounseling.com
Presentation title
A paragraph describing the presentation, including how it relates to principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy and provides direct, applicable clinical skills (3rd-wave behavioral therapies such as ACT, DBT, or mindfulness will also be considered).
3–4 measurable learning objectives
Preferred session length (ideally 1.5–2 hours)
A brief presenter bio, including any experience giving presentations or workshops
The deadline for submitting is April 20, and I will notify you by May 1st if it is selected. If it is not accepted, I will send you a $40 off registration coupon as a thank-you for submitting.
Please reach out if you would like to discuss your idea or if you have any general questions about the conference. The registration website will launch in May once the full agenda is planned.
Best,
Kyrie
