Small Group Case Consultation Series
Advance your CBT skills while receiving support for your challenging cases
I believe it was Shakespeare who said “the course of true love never did run smooth.” Swap the words true love with psychotherapy and no truer words have been spoken. I recall reading case studies in graduate school in which the presenting issues neatly lined up with DSM criteria and our hypothetical interventions go off without a hitch. Enter real clients, with comorbidities, unexpected stressors, and challenges that can leave us feeling stuck or stumped.
While I have taken some excellent trainings, my biggest growth as a therapist has come from consulting with other clinicians about my cases and digging into the CBT model with real people in mind. I’m offering an opportunity for you to do the same!
I have another series of small group consultation coming up in April. We will be focusing on challenging depression and anxiety cases, utilizing the CBT model, as well as discussing integration of third wave approaches - mindfulness, ACT and Metacognitive therapy. Check out the registration site for all the dates and details.
